Abstract: Pomeranka - a type of large and heavy, sailing, flat-bottomed fishing boat from Western Pomerania also popularized in Gdańsk Pomerania The Pomeranian boat is a traditional stave boat and the last link of the typological chain of the lower Vistulan boatbuilding. The area of occurrence is on the Vistula river between the Drwęca and estuary to the Baltic Sea. The boat builders operating in this area until the mid-twentieth century. In the second half of the twentieth century the Pomeranian boat was used less and less often.
