El léxico de la construcción naval en el siglo XIX

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente tesis doctoral es analizar y exponer el proceso de desarrollo del lexico de la industria naval en el español peninsular desde 1987 hasta 1899, teniendo en cuenta tanto los documentos originales (principales tratados tecnicos y prensa especializada) como la historia de los terminos, sin olvidar un acercamiento al transcurrir paralelo de los mismos respecto a la evolucion tecnico-cientifica de nuestro pais en esta materia. Se ha examinado el vocabulario propio del mundo de la construccion naval, a fin de registrar las innovaciones lexicas que se hubieran producido a lo largo del XIX, desde una concepcion del estudio del lexico que une el lenguaje con la historia de las ciencias y las tecnicas, sin que en ningun momento la explicacion de los hechos linguisticos se restrinja exclusivamente al ambito filologico, de modo que ambas perspectivas (cultural y lingüística) se unen para mostrar una parte de la historia del lexico, castellano. / The objective of this doctoral thesis is to analyze and expose the development process of the lexicon of the naval industry in peninsular Spanish from 1987 to 1899, taking into account both the original documents (main technical treatises and specialized press) and the history of the terms, without forgetting an approach to the parallel passing of the same with respect to the technical-scientific evolution of our country in this matter. The vocabulary of the world of shipbuilding has been examined, in order to record the lexical innovations that would have occurred throughout the 19th century, from a conception of the study of the lexicon that unites language with the history of sciences and techniques. , without at any time the explanation of the linguistic facts is restricted exclusively to the philological field, so that both perspectives (cultural and linguistic) come together to show a part of the history of the lexicon, Castilian.
