Abstract: | This text has been designed as a didactic aid to the information courses of "Naval Architecture" for which, even if the subject does not fall within the fundamentals of the study plan, it still remains a characterizing element in the training for a naval officer. The text therefore includes the basic elements of the material such as the nomenclature, the characteristic elements of the geometry of the vessels, the elements that characterize the stability and seaworthiness, the construction materials and their main characteristics, the construction elements, all in synthetic and elementary terms, but sufficiently exhaustive for the purposes of the courses. |
